KIMBERLY CHAN MIN JANE

Malaysia · New York Music Award Winner 2026 Season 1

At the age of seven, Kimberly developed a strong interest in singing and, together with her father—who is a musician—formed a father-daughter duo. They regularly perform duets, create music videos, and practise together on a daily basis. This consistent musical routine has played an important role in supporting her vocal development. In addition to producing music videos, Kimberly has also had numerous opportunities to perform live at various events and functions.

At school, Kimberly has actively participated in several musical theatre productions. Her first major role in a full-scale musical was Ariel in The Little Mermaid, which she performed at the age of nine. The following year, she took on the roles of Summer Hathaway in School of Rock and Miss Honey in Matilda the Musical JR. These musical theatre experiences have been instrumental in her artistic and vocal growth.

In 2024, Kimberly won First Prize in two international online competitions organised by Fiestalonia Milenio (Spain). She has also received Gold Awards at the Borneo International Choral Festival 2024, Voices in Bloom 2025, and the East United International Music Competition 2025.

Kimberly is also a member of her school’s elite choir, Vocal Pizzest, a two-time World Gold Medalist choir that has competed in INTERKULTUR international choir competitions held in Spain and Mauritius over the past two years.

Kimberly was absolutely delighted to participate in the inaugural New York Music Award. This marked her first experience with WOMCO, and she is thrilled with the results, which represent a significant personal milestone. She hopes to continue participating in more international competitions through WOMCO to further develop her artistic journey and international exposure.
